Before Leo Cussen
Fonda has extensive and varied experience as a lawyer in the areas of administrative law, human rights law, immigration, litigation, commercial/corporate and in-house roles as General Counsel.
He has worked in broad areas of government, as General Counsel in private and publicly listed companies as well as community organisations and at Clayton Utz Lawyers. He also has experience in management of staff and teams. His work has also involved advising across jurisdictions both locally and overseas (and Federal and State) and in the oversight of subsidiary companies (local and international) and company secretarial duties.
He has a strong background in regulatory and compliance requirements and the provision of commercial advice.
He was a member of the board of management for IDV (Ivanhoe Diamond Valley), a service provider to people with disabilities, which has a board of eight members with 100 staff.
He has also been a tutor and guest lecturer in law at Victoria University Melbourne and RMIT Melbourne.
He has expertise and experience in leading people, projects and programs. He has been involved in assisting and guiding in establishing/reviewing and forming policies, implementing strategies and achieving goals offering commercial, legal and as well as financial oversight.
