At Leo Cussen
Yvonne is a part-time Mentor and Lawyer for graduates in the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. As part of her role, Yvonne helps facilitate in the Transactions Rotation, Specialist Planning & Environmental Law Rotation and Leo Justice Lab.
Before Leo Cussen
Yvonne has been a regular external facilitator and appraiser at Leo Cussen for 2 years before becoming a part-time internal Mentor and Lawyer in the GDLP in 2018. She has recently completed a Certificate IV in Workplace and Business Coaching.
Yvonne has over fifteen years of diverse legal practice experience in the area of property and commercial law practice in the private legal sector. She has represented private clients on small to mid-scale commercial and residential property transactions and she was an in-house Corporate Solicitor for an Australian private company managing their national commercial property portfolios dealing with large and complex commercial property transactions.
Yvonne now runs her own private practice focusing on property and commercial law, including general conveyancing on residential and commercial properties, leasing, mortgages, subdivisions and sale and purchase of small businesses.

Yvonne is an active member of the Law Institute of Victoria and is currently a mentor in the LIV Mentoring Program 2023.
Achievements/Special Interests
Yvonne regularly volunteers at her children’s school as a parent helper as well as hosting international students.
Yvonne has a strong interest in legal education and mentoring of law students and law graduates.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and cruising on a yacht in Gippsland Lakes.
