Are you an overseas qualified lawyer or a requalifying lawyer wanting to practice in Australia?
If you are an overseas qualified lawyer or a requalifying lawyer wishing to be admitted to the Australian legal profession, you may first obtain guidance and approval from the admitting authority in the state in which you are wanting to practice. That authority can then direct you to complete individual training programs such as our PLT Program at Leo Cussen Centre for Law. Please note that in some cases, you may be required to complete a full, 24-week Practical Legal Training course.
Nationally, we offer Online PLT Single Topics under the authority of your state’s legal admissions board.
For our overseas lawyers and prequalifying lawyers wanting to practice in Victoria, we offer an additional option of Face to Face Supervised Legal Training in Melbourne under the authority of the Victorian Legal Admissions Board.
